Sorry I've been out of commission lately guys midterms and work have been crazy so I've resorted to lurking when possible....
Do we jump Oregon assuming we beat Kentucky. Thoughts I see no reason why we shouldn't. IMO we should jump Clemson as well

Calm down.
No.
Oregon is Oregon, wether you like it or not they get lots of hype. They probably move to 6 or 7.
IF we can beat uk we'll probably stand pat.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Auburn jump us this week.
I'd prefer they keep giving us no respect. This team seems to feed off of that narrative.
Respect will be earned, and respect will be given. Just give it time my friend.

Great response!

I just don't think a top 10 could lose (again assuming we take care of business ) and the poll move us up.
While I feel that this team feeds off being an underdog the fact that Oregons strength of schedule (or lack of one) compared to ours seems foolish that they'd be ranked above us when the season ends. Our one loss is in OT2 and Oregon looked BAD all game I just think that considered we will move up if we take care of business. I guess if not this week if we take care of business I don't see any reason why we don't by the end of the year

I agree that Oregon was extremely unimpressive, but the last quarter salvaged them from a shut out and with another 5 minutes they might have won the game.
We probably don't jump them with a win at KY. .... Might happen if we were playing Ole Miss or at least TAMU....
We just need to keep winning. One game at a time!

I agree with everyone's assessment - I see no way we jump Oregon. They will likely be just above us.
A win over Kentucky, assuming we take care of business, won't be impressive enough to move us up. In fact, assuming Auburn wins in Knoxville, they may leapfrog us - they already did in one poll last weekend, our numbers are extremely close, and winning in Knoxville would likely be a bit more impressive than winning in Lexington. That will make me sad, but hopefully the team will continue playing with a chip on their shoulder.

No
Look at where O started before the season.
Look at where we started. It seems that those ranked highly before the start get the benefit of the doubt over a team that comes out of nowhere.
Even though I think there should not even be a preseason poll. Just start ranking teams at about week 8 or so.

we need to win the last 3 games and let the dominos fall as they may. We let the USC game get away and that screwed us.
Lesson learned: Do not go into sleep mode with a lead in the 4th quarter !!!!!!!!

I just really want Baylor and Ohio State to lose. Although I do not see Ohio State losing.

Any chance MSU can get them? I haven't watched much of MSU this year, just see their record.

i think MSU gives them their best game of the year. they have the d to stop tOSU.

On paper, FSU should absolutely destroy UF, but you get in those rivalry games and you just never know. Strange shite happens. No name guys have career games. Ok, I can hope and dream. FSU blows them out and it's not pretty.

I think both Baylor and Ohio State get a loss. Baylor has to play at Oklahoma State and Ohio State will get beat by Michigan State in the B1G title game. I'm most concerned about 1 loss Stanford right now. They are already ahead of us, and I'm not sure they lose again.

Only time they might lose is in the PAC12 championship game.
