And for the $2,000 you have to qualify including financial needs assessment. So unless your family does not have much money you may get zero while you get up to $17,500 over 5 years from bama.

The robot is a dumbass. Could not even comprehend what he looked up and posted.

• University stipend for four years at $4,000 to $8,000 ($1,000 to $2,000 per year), depending on eligibility as determined by National Merit Scholarship Corporation and financial need as determined through completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Basically you will get a max of $4k-$8k, or you will get ZERO from AU if you do not need financial assistance. And that is after your tution and room and board is already paid for.

My guess is most do not qualify for any additional stipend at AU unless their family is pretty poor. While bama will pay an extra $17,500 gauranteed to come to their school for 5 years.

Just another example of why gumps are dumb when they tout merit scholars when bama has to pay them so much to even consider bama.

You know how Alabama beats LSU, on the field, but LSU obfuscates and changes the narrative to schedules and conspiracies and ESPN and so on. They do these crazy mental gymnastics because their minds can't handle the simple truth that Alabama is better.

That's how this is. Everything is right there, plain as day showing you that Alabama is a slightly better school. And you just can't handle it. So you've become ridiculous instead of accepting reality
