yet they flame LSU on here 24/7/365 with very little of the same vitrol headed towards the mountain gumps

Because it's not. LSU has won 9 of the last 14 over Bama but prior to 2000, Bama's record vs LSU was 42-16-5. That is not a rivalry. Maybe in the last 14 years it's begun to look like one and perhaps one day 30 years from now if there is still a back and forth between the two teams maybe then you can call it a rivalry.
However, Auburn is and always will be Bama's biggest rival and vice versa.
