OFFENSE: Tre Mason, RB, Auburn
• Rushed for 168 yards and four touchdowns on 32 carries to lead Auburn to a 35-17 win at Arkansas.
• His four rushing TDs and 32 carries were both career-bests.
• Became the first Auburn player since Cam Newton at Kentucky in 2010 to rush for four or more TDs in a game.
• It was his fourth 100-yard rushing game in the last six contests.
DEFENSE: Victor Hampton, DB, South Carolina
• Hampton was outstanding all afternoon, helping the defense hold the Bulldogs to 16 points in a 34-16 win.
• Hampton was credited with eight tackles including six solo stops.
• He Had three pass break ups, and forced and recovered a fumble.
• The Gamecock defense forced five turnovers on the afternoon.
SPECIAL TEAMS: Marshall Morgan, PK, Georgia
• Morgan scored 11 points in the Bulldogs’ 23-20 win over Florida, including a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals.
• He highlighted his performance by drilling a 32-yard field goal as time expired in the first half and a 49-yarder earlier in the game.
• Morgan leads the SEC in scoring at 10.2 pts/game and is 13-for-15 on the year (misses from only 52 and 39).
FRESHMAN: Maty Mauk, QB, Missouri
• Led the No. 10 Tigers to a convincing 31-3 victory Saturday over Tennessee, to improve MU to 8-1 overall and 4-1 in SEC play. Accounted for 277 yards of total offense, as he became the first MU QB since 2011 (James Franklin vs. North Carolina) to throw and rush for 100 yards in a game.
• Ended the night with 163 yards passing and 3 touchdowns (zero interceptions) while he ran for a career-high 114 yards on 13 carries (an 8.8 avg. per attempt).
• His TD passes came from 9 yards, 26 yards and 40 yards to three different receivers, and he did not take a sack on the night.
• Mizzou attempted only five passes in the second half, as the Tiger lead was 31-3 midway through the third quarter.
• Mauk is now 2-1 as a starter in relief of injured senior co-captain QB James Franklin. Mauk also came in to get a “save” at Georgia in the 4th quarter of MU’s 41-26 win on Oct. 12th, when he replaced the injured Franklin and extended MU’s tenuous 28-26 lead at the time.
OFFENSIVE LINEMAN: Justin Britt, LT, Missouri
• Britt had another all-star performance as he helped pave and protect the way for a 502-yard night of total offense for Mizzou in its 31-3 win against Tennessee. On the night, Britt graded out at 94%, and he had 5 knockdown blocks, 3 pancake blocks and 2 cut blocks. Additionally, Britt allowed zero QB pressures, and zero QB sacks.
• Mizzou rushed for 339 yards Saturday against Tennessee, marking its biggest rushing total in a conference game since 2003, when the Tigers ran for 376 yards in a 45-7 win against Iowa State on Nov. 29, 2003.
• Britt is playing at award-worthy level, and he’s a key reason why the Tigers are one of the best turn-around stories of the 2013 season. Mizzou’s offense ranks in the top-30 nationally in most major categories, a few of which include: First Downs Gained (10th), Fewest Turnovers Lost (12th), Scoring Offense (13th), Total Offense (15th), Rushing Offense (16th), 3rd Down Conversions (27th), and Passing Efficiency (28th).
DEFENSIVE LINEMAN: Garrison Smith, NG, Georgia
• Smith recorded a career-high nine tackles, including 2.5 sacks for loss of 12 yards, during Georgia’s 23-20 win over Florida.
• After coming into the season with 1.5 sacks this year and only a single sack during the first three years of his career, Smith is third on the team with four sacks and third with a total of 44 tackles this season.
• He led a defense that surrendered only a pair of touchdowns (which had drives of 14 and 50 yards) and a field goal.

Mauk looked really good (did not notice Britt but Mizzou dominated line of scrimmage).

Meh. He didn't look bad. I can't wait for Franklin either but I'm not going to be harsh on Mauk. His biggest job is don't turn the ball over and he didn't. He had a really good day with his legs. With his arm, he was so-so at best.

I'm not going to be too hard on Mauk because he's still a RSfreshman. Compare his performance to Berk's last season? He's just fine for where he is. He has some tendencies that need to be corrected (like scrambling backwards) but he also has a lot of talent.
But a 100% Franklin gives us our best chance this season. We need him for Ole Miss and A&M.
