Really? That is your answer. That is the worst post I have ever read.

It is technically to find best teams.

For example: This year SEC has Bama and Auburn. Both with 1 loss.

You get an undefeated Baylor and Oregon - Both which would be dog stomped by say 4 sec teams.

Baylor and Oregon go and tOSU whose big win is over Wisconsin.

Now if you add the Noles the SEC wll get zero. Even though the top few teams would be fovored over everyone but the Noles, which would be what? 2

The oregon problem and Big 12 problem is huge. Especially with a panel. That means a 10-1 Auburn may not go because Bama is in already and a 10-1 OU goes in ahead. Even though OU sucks.

Its a problem we have been lucky for 7 years to avoid. But now with the playoff - the other bowls will not have the same ring. You just be pissed. Why is Baylor in the FINAL FOUR and we would be 10 point favoriytes!

Neither baylor nor oregon are undefeated.

So, same as it is now. Good teams get locked out of the BCS all the time.

Few bowls have a "ring" NOW. This is irrelevant.

We would not be 10 point favorites.

Your posts in this thread are far worse.

Why is the SEC getting 2 teams in suddenly make or break for us? It makes absolutely no sense. The SEC streak went 7 years, with 9 of the 15 BCS trophies with only one time getting two teams in, and even if two teams didn't get in that year, the streak would have continued. I don't get how you go from the SEC just beating every one on the field to suddenly needing to meet itself in the final.

Because they are. What Vegas says about how they stack up against a 4 loss team doesn't diminish the SEC's chance of their champion beating those teams when given a opportunity. Why you suddenly think anyone other than an SEC Champ should even have a chance to be crowned a national champ, I think is stupid, but if you are going about wanting to market that "the SEC Champ is the actual national Champ" it makes even LESS sense. None.

I can't tell if you're just deranged, or you just grew up your whole life as that person that starts to argue and everyone is just so beaten down by the stupidity they just grin and bear it to you feel like you've changed the world with your brilliance.

Here's the problem. You obviously have no awareness of any football outside of your specific region of interest.

Baylor has a loss already. Oregon has more than one loss.

A four team playoff where a SEC champ gets a bid is a perfectly good solution because it lets the teams who deserve it get a chance. This year for example the top four conference champs will likely be:

tOSU/MSU winner - legit
Auburn/MU winner - legit
FSU if they roll Duke as expected - legit
Oklahoma State if they beat OU - legit

That's really a pretty awesome scenario. The end of the season is supposed to be a bit of a playoff anyway and it looks like that's what we'd see if this year was the first year of a four team playoff.
