Not a troll question. It would be trading one a-hole coach for another, but at least Petrino is a proven winner.

HUD is their guy and the better option IMO. I don't think Petrino would agree to State's terms because they'd have to pull something like Arkansas did to keep him from going to another SEC school.

Even if by some miracle we landed Petrino, he wouldn't stick around for long if he managed any kind of success.
Our options for the future are Hudspeth or Mullen. And that's about it.

I think if any SEC school is willing to give bobby P a chance he'd be stupid not to take it. Who knows though. Might just stay in other conferences and avoid the top competition

Bobby Petrino will be the next HC at Alabama after Saban finally has that aneurysm on the sidelines that's been a long time coming.

They hired Jackie Sherril, didn't they? If it was not beneath them to hire that scumbag, why not hire Petrino?
