Off course Au would win if they played LSU again. herp-n-derp

However, will Gus's immediate success at Au turn out to be the worse thing that could happen for them? By making Gus the top target for UTex? Au has been a steeping stone in the past for coaches at UTex, with good success. UTex will make a run for Gus? Would Gus make the jump after one year?

Au is a great program but only the woolyist of the Au sheep wouldn't say UT is a much bigger program and can easily out pay Au. It would be much easier for Gus to win in the long run at UT than Au and Austin is a lot closer to home for Gus.

I wound not dispute any of this. If Texas came calling for Gus, he would be a fool not to entertain it. Texas is the richest program in the NCAA with the easiest recruiting. He was flourish there.

UTex wouldn't go for a someone with a small amount of experience as Gus IMHO. I think they'd shoot for something more stable if not more mediocre--I don't think they let go of the ball coach yet.
