So if Ole Miss were to win out and go 9-3, there is a good chance they could be in TX, ATL, or FL. My question is when these bowl games choose which teams to invite, is it based directly on how each SEC team finishes in the standings? I'm asking in the case that we finish tied with LSU or A&M in our own division or if USCe were to finish with 3 losses. Are there more factors that go into it than just how the SEC seed?

If we're tied with TAMU or LSU, we get the bid. The bowl reps know that our fans travel well and that the fanbases of those teams will be let down by anything less than a BCS bowl because of what they expected coming into the season.

If we win out, I'd put money on us going back to Arlington (which is where Jerry's World is, not Dallas. GEEEEEEEZ.)

I really hope we don't get a bid to the CFA bowl, I've got a commitment I can't get out of that night and wouldn't even get to watch it.

I want the Cotton Bowl. I'm here in Dallas and it would be great. No travel for me at all.

I actually enjoyed B-Ham believe it or not. Legion was in a shitty area and is just old, but the overall experience was great! However, I would like to be somewhere else this year.

I had a blast in BHam. It was basically a home game. Pitt was overwhelmed from the get go. Lots of fun that day. And yes, atrocious venue.

The venue was a piece of shite. And Pittsburgh was fricking horrible. It was fun though

I never minded BHam but I hated Legion field which made it seem like a worse experience than it was

I'm hoping that Ole Miss gets the Cotton Bowl. If not that, then the Gator Bowl. The Gator only because I live so close to Jacksonville and it would be an easy trip.

That trip was a high for me bc we just killed Pitt, and Treadwell and Nkemdiche were there.

If we go 9-3 I want the Capital One Bowl... That's still an SEC tie-in right ? My daughter will be 14 months old and walking and talking at that point.. She would love Orlando and Disney World... I mean, the beach on New Year's ?!?!? Other than DMagic who the hell wouldnt want that ?

Orlando isn't really close to the beach though.

I personally either want CFA or music City (I know this one would be a lesser bowl but it would be fun)

I want nothing to do with Cotton. I wish Cotton and SEC would drop tie in. I despise Tejas with everything in my soul.

I bet if you ask the players and coaches which of those they'd want....they would pick the Cotton. They do a damn good job taking care of the players and giving them a good experience for a week. And hell the payout is much better than the music city and gator. And from a lot of people I know here in Valdosta, the capital one bowl is really not fun at all. I would not be upset if ole miss was in the running for the Cotton every season.
