Might end up as 4 year starter at UT

He looked very good considering.
Things may be a little different if Dobbs started against Florida. He just gives us a dual threat.

It'll nice to maybe be able to run the read-option, instead of the no-read-handoff that we've been running.

Even Peyton kept the ball more than Worley.

Kids legit and I've heard he has a pretty good head on his shoulders. I thought he'd start from day one since he's a dual threat but I don't know enough about your other qbs.

Things absolutely would've been different but at the end of the day I trust jones's decision and understand he knows more about it than I do

I was to inebriated to remember, can anyone give any cliffs? I'm pumped we can run the read option

I'll try to give you cliffs
He was 5/12 for 75 yards but should've been about 9/12 for probably 125. His passes were extremely crisp and on the money. I think the receivers weren't expecting the ball to come in hot like it did. Had a beautiful pass to Smith down the seam hit him between the numbers and was dropped. Had a great back shoulder throw to North in the end zone that should've been caught for a TD.
Averaged around 7 YPC when he tucked it on the read option. The running game started to open up afterwards because you could see Alabama LBs hesitate for a second, not knowing if he was keeping it or handing it off.
I know it was mopup duty and we were trailing by 35 but the offense was smooth and flowing better than I've seen all season.

Thanks brotha, really encouraging. I'm trying to find some film on it

No problem. The thing I found most encouraging was how well he looked considering he hasn't had the first rep all year with the offensive 1's. Dude has a lot of poise and if Butch is smart, he'll tell Worley good job, good effort, now here's your clipboard.

He looked that much better huh?

He's better than Worley, I don't think there's any question about that. He looked more accurate, more mobile, and seemed to put a lot more zip on the ball. Honestly, I'm scratching my head and wondering why it's taken this long for him to be put in the game.

It was night and day. Stats don't tell the whole story. I really couldn't name one thing that Worley does better. Dobbs looked just as composed if not more.
You know those passes that Worley throws that skip in the dirt or sails high and leaves you scratching your head? He typically has about 10 or so a game. I rewatched the 2nd half this morning and I saw Dobbs throw one pass like that. Everything else was tight and catchable for the WR. Also, he never once threw into double or triple coverage.
I'm not trying to ramble, but I'm pretty excited from what I've seen.

Hell yeah, where did you watch the 2nd half at? I'm pumped about watching his film even with the arse beating

I dvr'd the game yesterday. The full game is usually up on youtube by Sunday night or Monday though.

Just watched the highlights of the game, and Dobbs looked really poised with some big time throws. I almost shed a tear watching him hold it on the read option
If Worley heals in time for the game on Saturday, do the coaches give him the nod? For me personally, It's hard to imagine so. You have the type of quarterback that fits your system, and passes the eye test when comparing the two. He might not have extensive knowledge of the playbook yet, but his athletic ability and demeanor on the field look solid. The future is bright with him and Fergy

I'll be shocked and a bit disappointed, if Dobbs doesn't start next week.

Does Ferguson look to transfer next season?
Dobbs will get 1/2 a season of experience and if things are "tied up" after the spring as they were this past spring... He should be the de facto starter.
I wish we could keep both, but if both are elite talent like Trent Dilfer predicted- I don't think that happens.
