He has. My guess is he hasn't been brow beaten at every turn.

Whatever the case, he has done a hell of a job this year.

The difference in Palardy this year vs. previous years - he isn't getting mind-fricked by a totally incompetent frick stain of a head coach.

Palardy said himself that CBJ has given him "unshakable" confidence in himself.

Yep. Being told not to "frick it up" as you head on the field doesn't really help the ole kicking game.

Glad Michael has turned it around. Good guy.

Fuad Reveiz was on TSN Saturday after the game talking about the difference in Palardy this year.

Reveiz said that Dooley used to always tell Palardy "Don't screw this up" before he would go in to kick a field goal. He said he also offered to help Palardy but Dooley basically told him to kick rocks. It's amazing what a little bit of positivity will do for a young player.

It was pretty clear Palardy's problem was mental and having a coach who isn't a total jackass probably helped that a great deal

Anytime our coach isn't sitting on a stool on the sidelines is a good sign too.

He's proven to be a solid mid range guy, I have zero faith in him when it comes to anything beyond 40 yards.

I remember when we were recruiting him, he looked like an absolute beast and I was ecstatic we got him. Its good to see him finally come around a bit.

Yep, I heard that too.
