Minus the UCF game (358 passing yds), we've allowed an average of 171.6 passing YPG - would be good for 11th nationally. We've played 4 of 6 opponents with passing offenses in the top 37 nationally...

Minus the UGA score, we've allowed 19.0 pts per gm, good for 19th nationally...

IMO we're on the edge of being pretty dang good on defense. Hopefully the youngsters keep improving...

I tend to think like you, Conway. I think we are close. The guys grew up a lot during the Arkansas game, and the addition of Chaz Elder to the fold may turn out to be the spark the secondary needed. I have a feeling he is going to be a player.

I think the chemistry game, the one that finally melded them into something that has the potential to finish strong, was the UCF game quite honestly.

We could have easily lost that game ... but we didn't.

When we look back on this season that will be the turnaround and pointed in the right direction game.

This is a bizaro realm version of last season. Our Defense carried us early and the offense came on late. This year its looking like the opposite could happen.

We have to keep our foot on the gas though. We can't let our offense start coasting like they did after getting the big lead in the early parts of the season.

If we come out Saturday, and the rest of the season, and sustain a lead, the future is going to be very bright indeed.
