Am I the only one who couldn't believe that the ball was spotted on the two after the guy who downed it started out in the end zone? The announcers were dumbfounded too..thought it was a big deal at the time..oh well

I was watching a game either last weekend or Thursday night where the guy that downed it WAS in the endzone and the announcer made it a point to say that as long as the ball doesn't cross the plane that is all that matters.
I had always thought that if the player was in the endzone then they don't have the ability to come back out and down it.
