Any word on what exactly what happened to Marshall's knee and how long he'll be out?

I like Douglas and and JJ, but imho they are just spell backs. Gurley has got to get healthy. Again I think they are both damn good dawgs, but in hindsight I wish we could've landed Mike Davis or someone of that nature.

The plan to redshirt AJ Turman may have just changed. That was the plan due to injuries getting him behind Green and Douglas. It was a luxury we had when we figured we were fine with Gurley, Marshall, Green, and Douglas.

With Marshall gone, and Gurley not 100%, the staff might have to reassess this plan. Turman looked great before he got hurt in preseason and he was ahead of Douglas for sure.

Makes sense to me. With Chubb and Michel committed we might as well see what Turman has, particularly if Marshall is out for an extended period.
