Does caring about college football make one a loser? What about people that play fantasy football? Somehow fantasy football gets a pass as not being pathetic yet I as an Alabama fan and grad am supposed to feel guilty for caring about college football (and college basketball). Makes perfect sense.

Apparently. These guys care. Not too much, and not too little. They have found the perfect balance that should be right for everyone else, even though their participation (post count) in this board belies the truth.

So I go back to my question. Why is it better, "referring to your topic of the is thread" to be an Ole Miss fan than a Bama fan?

Why are you asking me a question that I answered in detail in the OP?

He isn't an Ole Miss fan. The politically correct term is "observer". He observes Ole Miss football, he doesn't cheer for it.

post-count-sessed

What about the poster with 20,000 posts on the Food Board? Are they obsessed with college football as well?

And he's arguing Ole Miss fans are happy if they just win a game whereas Alabama fans are only happy if they win a championship every year. Which certainly isn't true. I have high expectations due to the way the program recruits but I am also smart and sane enough to know it is impossible to win every single game.

I'm definitely a fan. I just don't lose my shite based on what happens in a football game.

That's pretty much what I said on page 4.

But back to sweeping generalizations and such.....Grevous, your turn.

No. They are just fat asses and have bigger problems than college football.

That's probably the best possible outlook.

When's the last time we had to "observe" Bama being shutout?

If this is true (and I'm sure it is), why are you arguing with me?

No, he probably weighs 400 lbs, and is obsessed with food.

There is a parallel here, if you squint your eyes and tap on that oh-so-well-adjusted temple of yours.

Let me know if I can help you with anything else.

But what is wrong with losing one's shite over a game? Absolutely nothing. Yeah...Alabama has a crazy fan base but fan bases such as Alabama's exist all over the freaking world. Some of these European soccer clubs have fan bases 100 times more rabid than our fan base.

You should change your thread to
quote:

Why being an Ole Miss fan is easier than being a Bama fan
then you wouldn't be misrepresenting or what we refer to as trolling.

a troll (/'tro?l/, /'tr?l/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people,[1] by posting inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally[3][4] or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[5] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[6]
