LSU running it's mustang package is a prevent defense?
It's really not hard to understand, at all. Prevent defense is to stop the deep TD pass with minimal time remaining.
Why the hell would you run 4+ DB's 50+ yards downfield with 3 minutes left? I could complete those passes. That's basically 5 on 3 in favor of the offense.
