This is just patently ridculous and full of LSU homerism....if you want to bag on Bama's national titles then OK....so if we are measuring by SEC titles bama is even more succesful by your definition as we have 23 SEC titles...or are you gonna dispute that to?

I've always said Bama's 23 sec titles are far more impressive than all those bogus MNC. Also the bcs title is subjective as hell. You get voted into. The coaches and players have very little control over making the BCSCG. Take last year for example, had ohio state not self imposed a bowl ban, the BCSCG would've been Notre same vs Ohio state. Would bama being left out of the BCSCG changed the fact that bama was the best team last year? frick no. The national title in in cfb is the most hollow trophy in all of sports. Every single year , as soon as the game BCSCG is over, there is a debate on if the VOTERS GOT THE TWO TEAMS RIGHT. Do you know what you never hear questioned? Who won the sec. The bcs is bull shite and I haven't cared about it since 2004. This is just my opinion.

ETA: I'd rather win back to back sec titles than one bcs title any day. It's far more rare and can't be questioned.
