not just Alabama. It's an NCAA rule you can't sell your tickets. Shyrone Carey and another player, can't think of who right now, were suspended from the BCS national championship game in 2003 for selling their extra tickets. Players basically aren't allowed to make any money of anything related to football: selling their jerseys (AJ Green), signing autographs (Manziel), selling tickets, etc.

Do you honestly think I didn't know that? That's not at all what I was saying.
I meant I'm pretty sure I remember Alabama putting measures in place to prevent players from being ABLE to sell their tickets
