Our Rivals guy confirmed through Pierce's head coach that the Miami and Florida offers were legitimate.

No, they weren't legit. Sorry.

And there's a reason Collins's mom pitched such a fit - she was doing everything she could to get the offer back but the ship had sailed and he at least had already come to grips he'd be leaving the sunshine state to live in the shittiest state in the US of A.

I think his coach also told RD the same and it's interesting that anyone would think a player AND his coach would make up all these offers.

Alex Collins didnt have committable offers from the big 3.

I think it was Kirkland who was down to Arkansas and Miami. Miami had a hissy fit b/c he was taking so long, so they pulled his offer, only to apologize and offer again a few days later.

Collins was down to Arkansas and FSU, but wanted to go to Arkansas because of his relationship with Bielema.

He's a big homer who exaggerates and tells the fans what they want to hear, so don't trust his 'leans' and etc but he's usually got a grain of truth to what he says. Just gotta take what he says if it's pro- A&M with a big grain of salt.

Thanks! That's what I thought, but couldn't remember for certain. I'm fairly certain that he's been making up some doozies lately. Seems like I remember him doing the same last year.
