He said Bullard will be taking more reps inside. I know he said Taylor will get more carries, etc, but I think this will actually come to fruition. We lack explosiveness at DT and hopefully Bullard can help us out there.

Bullard is really good at stuffing the run at DE, hopefully he can do it as a DT.

I don't think it is permanent, but my guess is he will line up way more inside than he has been.

I was originally thinking that it would be perfect for 3 and long.

I was predicting since late last year that Bullard would inside. In our defensive scheme we move players around a lot on the DL. Bullard can help collapse the pocket from the inside and is strong enough to tie up OL to allow our LBs to make tackles.

Also...don't be surprised if TE Thompson moves to OL...although he may be called a TE...he may be a blocker mainly and I think will outgrow the TE spot....this is also something I spotted last year.

TE is a glaring weakness for the offense right now.

Murphy's safety blanket right now is Burton, but at some point a TE on the roster will have to step up in the passing game.

One other important note:

For the first time all season, our starting OLine was healthy vs. Kentucky.

I think the running game will be more consistent throughout the rest of the season.

I will believe this when I see it.
