Looks like a neck injury. Tough to watch because his dad was yelling his name from the stands. Don't know who else saw this. No link right now

Damn. Makes me think of Reggie Brown's injury.

Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett, who has been a big story this season as Seattle’s sack leader, was taken off the field Sunday on a stretcher after he was injured on a play against the Texans in Houston.

Updated: The Seahawks said Bennett has been taken to a hospital with a lower-back injury. He has feeling in all extremities.

Late in the second quarter, Bennett was rushing Texans quarterback Matt Schaub when he was pushed from behind by a Houston defender into Schaub’s leg. Bennett’s head appeared to snap back, and his helmet flew off as he hit the ground.

Bennett laid face-down on the turf for several minutes as trainers tended to him. Many Seahawks stood and watched, and at least one — linebacker Bobby Wagner — was seen on television shedding a tear … or sweating.

Bennett was seen moving his head and talking to the trainers, but was gingerly placed on a stretcher and carted off the field.
