The read option is their go-to and the backbone of their offense. Wallace isn't Cam-sized or Cam-fast, but he consistently makes good decisions and gets a few yards with almost every carry.

Ole Miss and their read option requires you to make sound reads and tackles. Bo Wallace is one of the best at running the read option from a decision making perspective which allows him to gain yards consistently despite his athletic ability.

Bo Wallace- Arm strength was subpar last year before his offseason surgery. His arm strength is subpar compared to his already weak arm last year. Running the read option, he typically does a very solid job running the RO and consistently picks up yards.

Jeff Scott- Jeff Scott is like OMac except a little slower straightline speed and a huge upgrade in lateral quickness. Positive for Auburn is he is the anti Jeremy Hill at 5'7 175. It is more an issue of making sound reads and our DB's making plays on the perimeter rather than having Jake Holland getting bulldozed

Passing Game: Bo Wallace's arm strength may make Chris Todd's passes look like Cam Newton's, but he has done great in his progressions this year. He is throwing just over 60% with no interceptions despite playing Vandy, Texas and Bama, all major opponents with talent. While we don't have to worry too much about being beat deep, intermediate passing routes have been extremely effective for Ole Miss

The wide receivers Treadwell and Moncreif play extremely physical and are threats in the middle of the field. Add in the emergence of Evan Ingram in the passing game and Ole Miss has an extremely dangerous physical passing game in the middle of the field.

Approx height/weight
Treadwell 6'3 215
Moncreif 6'3 226
E Ingram 6'1 225

I'd imagine the size of their receivers and their consistent trend of throwing to them in the middle of the field will make it hard to see smaller guys like J Garrett playing WLB as their main WRs/TE are bigger than him. Unfortunately, Jake Holland sucks a dick and will get bulldozed too so this matchup scares the shite out of me

Ole Miss really suffers from not having a physical RB who can pick up yard inside... scott can't do it. Wallace might be their most physical runner (if you could call him that).

The last two defenses they've faced have been on opposite ends of the spectrum... texas is one of the worst while bama made be the best. It's really hard to guage how good they are offensively b/c of who they've played.

IMO, we'll see much better play calling and decision making from Wallace and Freeze this saturday... it's going to take our best defensive effort to date to win.
