If that is the case, it could be the acoustics of the stadium. The lower bowl isn't particularly steep, so sound might get a little spread out.

That or our fan base is really spoiled.

It's a little bit of both. I do feel like a lot of the sound does escape from the stadium. I think it has to do with the structure.

Really if you think about it, all of the 100,000+ stadiums are really not known for being the loudest in America. It's kinda weird.

I've been to most stadiums in the SEC, and at least the top 3 loudest games I've been to were at BDS. However, it's pretty quiet against bad teams.
