"However, don't expect a loud crowd"

Agree and disagree. BDS is good for about 2 or 3 loud atmospheres a year and occasionally a very loud atmosphere. It certainly isn't as loud or isn't as CONSISTENTLY loud as LSU, Florida, A&M, or even Auburn but make no mistake it can and does get loud.

I'm biased and there are some amazing game day experiences throughout the SEC but I'd put Bama's overall game day experience (stadium niceness, pageantry, campus presentation, ease of transportation, ease of tailgating, campus atmosphere, and stadium atmosphere as a total package) ahead of any other SEC team's besides probably LSU.

As for the Ole Miss game, it's never a great atmosphere because Bama's literally lost like 1 home game to them in the last 40 years. Kinda hard to work up a sense of urgency among fans with that kind of history.

I've been to BDS several times (twice for iron bowl). Was surprised it was not louder for Iron bowls.
