Hindsight is 20/20. Going in it seemed like a good idea to let Peterman show what he has, but other than the QB play the team played hard. They were just not as talented as UF.

I'd also like to go on record and say that I never once fell for the "back-up QB is our savior" stance that every other person in the Vol fanbase fell victim too.

I am a cut above the rest.

But...but....Mack Brown recruited him. Tejas should fire him for that alone.

Making Peterman have his first career start at the swamp, against the best defense in the country was beyond moronic. I don't think Whorley would have done any better but you could give a green kid nightmares of Chucky and Fowler for weeks.

That was a terrible decision and a terrible way to start a game, when Florida's offense was doing its best to hand you the game.

nah... anyone with a brain knew playing Peterman Saturday was going to be a disaster... granted, I didn't think it would be THAT big of a disaster.

a True Frosh... in the Swamp... against that defense?... Jones pulled a disperation move and it failed miserably. He may end up being a decent coach, but the call to start Peterman (then leave him in there the whole half) was mind bogling.

I still can't fricking believe he got more than 2 series. The fact Butch gave him a whole half makes me realize that the best he'll ever do at Tennessee is 6-6. MAAAAAAAybe 7-5 if he is lucky.
