Why do LSU fans keep saying that LSU played conservative in the second half?
Up 35-14 in the fourth they we were still attacking downfield. Offense played well the whole game. Landry best WR in the SEC

Because the sequence LSU ran after the on-side kick was overturned was inexcusably bad.
Otherwise it wasn't bad at all. LSU was conservative and bleeding clock in the second half, but after the first two AU TD's, LSU put together fantastic drives to keep them at arm's length.
The last 8 or so minutes were still pretty terrible.
ETA: Auburn isn't what I would call good. They just aren't the dumpster fire that they were a year ago, a 7-5 bowl team. Also the HUNH is hell on wheels to stop when the playcaller gets in the position that they know they're going for every 4th down.

Um no, Mike Evans is the best WR in the SEC and probably the whole damn NCAA. Landry is very good, top 5 in the SEC.
