Yes that's silly. Obviously to win the BCSCG you have to win the SECCG (usually
) and then the #2 team. So this original argument you're trying to counter was a stupid one to begin with. But my point remains... if you're trying to compare your schedule with LSU's, you have to stop at the end of the regular season to compare the same amount of games.

Point is, for Bama to 3-peat they will have to win as many tough games as anyone. So the trashing of Bama's schedule this summer was rubbish, especially now that VT looks better than TCU and UF isn't even a top 15 team.
