Will gameday ever come to Oxford?

It's surprising to me that they have never been here (besides the dumpster fire years). Is this year the year? I could see them coming for A&M or even LSU. What would it take for them to come here?

bullshite. Dude was on Finebaum last week and said if we beat Bama, Auburn, and A&M, he would make a trip to the campus to check things out.
Pretty much no. They're at a D2 game this weekend for frick's sake. They've had opportunities to come to Oxford and haven't.

I think pank said the head guy over Game Day said we have to beast Texas, Bama, and Auburn before they'll try and come here this year.

You don't sent them trying to get in starkvegas anytime soon.. I say we will get gameday within the next 2 years. If not this year.

I think it's kinda funny how obsessive our fanbase is over Gameday being in Oxford.
We are a bit attention-starved... I swear in 2003 the message boards went in complete meltdown when Gameday announced it was going to Mich/tOSU instead of OM/LSU
To each his own, I just find it kind of humorous. If we win, the attention and recognition will come. I know, 50 years of losing can work on a fan's psyche....

I would like for them to come once to get the monkey off our backs, but after that I wouldn't mind them never coming back. It would be a complete clusterfrick on campus.

If we go 2-0 against Bama and AU they will definitely come for the aTm game... If we go 2-1 through Bama, AU and aTm I could see them coming for the LSU game.. I want them for A & M... Our players have had that one circled since last October

shite I wish they wouldve gone to a matchup like that. They went up to West Point to do a Salute to the Troops IIRC. Not trying to split hairs though.
