My point exactly. The Screen Actors Guild and other unions sanction the agents in show biz. It is the same dynamic as for the NFL, in that they have the power to say who and who cannot be an agent. It is a private association and they have the right to determine who can function as agents.

With so many agents members of the bar, I'm not clear on just what standing the NFL or NCAA has to deny an individual the right to legal counsel.
