Well, there is a difference between a booster paying a kid to go to a school v. an agent giving a kid money to sign with his agency in terms of how the NCAA views it as it relates to gaining a competitive advantage.

What rocked USC so hard was the fact that agents were basically running all over campus and USC continually and "intentionally" turned a blind eye to it. If Alabama can show that it has been, and is doing everything in its power to educate athletes about agents and keep agents away from players, I think the NCAA goes light on the program itself. Saban is certainly not the poster child for having an agent friendly program. He hates their guts and publicly says so.
