?@MikeBBonner To show you how little the depth chart means, "Charles Butler" is listed as a second team corner. There is no Charles Butler on the team.

with that said, Chris Jones is listed as a starter this week. That didn't take long

Isn't Russell listed as starter?

Yeah -- Russell, Jay Hughes, and Justin Malone were all still listed as starters for Alcorn in the game notes -- while Chris Jones was still listed as 2nd string DE.
I've read somewhere before that these depth charts are put together by our media relations dept with no/little input from our actual coaching staff... makes sense why they are meaningless...

If Russell is starting I am definitely putting some money on Auburn.

The statue will go crazy just to spite me.

Glad he is healthy enough to start. If they call plays like this weekend, he will have a win under his belt.

It better be a 2 qb system. Muffin's loyalty will be the death of him.

I think Dak will get plenty of time this season. I also think that was the plan before TR went down.
Like I told you earlier, both QBs can win if they call plays that keep the defense from loading the box to stop the run. We won't win with either QB in if we run another 12 run plays out of 15 plays.

Russell's problem is his lack of threat to run essentially allows them to have an extra defender to stop whatever we are doing well. They don't have to account for him in the run game.
Read option and all the variations off of it(which we saw a bunch of against Alcorn) are ineffective with Russell because there is almost no "read" to it...

Russell's problem is Mullen and his offense.

Agree that Muff play calling sux but disagree because TR's problem is TR.

I think Muffin's defelopment of him is just as bad. I mean obviously he doesn't have a problem with him being a statue.

Agreed. Muffin knows how to coach a Tebow-ish QB and I think that's why Dak does better.
