I never thought that because 3 defensive scores also takes away from what the O has to do in a game.

It shows me a dominant win over a very good ball club.

A&M DB's were to be a strength - but we have had a suspensions and stuff I can't keep up with. But we have had blown coverages and looked bad all the way around. Enis had his first game back vs. Sam Houston at DT so that should help a little, he was a starter. Freshman Golden - Big #6 in Nation DT getting some time he will hit and miss.

A&Ms OL should be stout again. I think 2 possible 1st rounders again. We got to get the ball to a bunch of the new receivers against SH so that was good.

My thought is if A&M can keep from having huge holes and can keep from blown coverages we have a ball game. If not. Tide Rolls.

I didn't mean to imply you did, was just talking about people in general

Don't get me wrong, it was a very poor performance. However, there's no reason at all to think Saban and Co. won't put out a stellar offensive line every year and this group has plenty of talent. It was their first time playing together, and against a very good front 7 even if the rest of VT wasn't all that good. The offensive line for Alabama will improve every week IMO as they get more time together. Communication breakdowns were a part of the poor play, A&M game will be another good test in front of a noisy, hostile crowd.
