Looks as if any future games with scUM will have to be at a neutral site.

UF scUM neutral site

Isn't Sun Life Stadium technically a neutral site game?

It's just like a neutral site game. We'll have almost 50% of that place taken up I would guess.

I really doubt we have more than 35%, but it would be lovely to get 50% or better

I say we let them wallow in their own misery. They become more & more irrelevant every single year, why give them the money & spotlight by getting the chance to share the field with us. Let them die a slow death and then completely take over the south fla recruiting grounds.

I think we should rotate scUM and FSucks every 2 years. They both need us more than we need them. Please don't say it's a state law that we play FSucks because it isn't.

Sorry but if we go to 9 conference games I think it would be stupid to schedule both FSU and Miami yearly. We have a strong enough SOS to get to most playoffs with 1 loss. Don't risk that for rivalry games. I love playing Miami, but I'd rather play it safe and get a shot at a title than overload our schedule with too many challenges.

My statement was to rotate the 2 schools, not play them both in the same year. I agree that it would be stupid to play both with the SEC schedule that we already have. Go Gators.

I think FSU is worth more money too us. I say we just drop Miami. What's the point of playing them? Their fans are thugs, they are no longer a power, it's just kind of a waste. I think Dooley finally got something right in an article in that this is not a healthy rivalry. I know down in Miami tomorrow I will probably end up in a fight. I almost guarantee it. I haven't fought an FSU fan at a game ever. But I know Miami fans are pure trash, and they will say or do something to my GF that will make me go off. It is almost guaranteed.

I'd rather let the Thugs stay irrelevant and keep opponents worth our time who have just a little class.

Good luck in Miami, personally I look at FSU and Miami the same. Going to Tally is just as bad as going to Miami.

Go Gators.

The big issue here is the seat allotment that Miami gave to Florida. Not to mention the major majority of the seats provided are upper deck seats. Florida isn't gonna play the BS with Miami. Our game this year will have more people attending than the rest of the home games combined for Miami. We help them out considerably from a financial standpoint every time we go to Miami. Foley isn't gonna keep doing that, and keep getting the shaft on seating. Period.

Wasn't 2008 UF-UM the highest arrest total for any saturday afternoon in Gainesville history? I heard that a while back not sure if actually true. FSU fans are kind of Gator fans with different colors and a lesser education. We were raised similar. Miami fans are fans because of the thug mentality Miami had for a long time. Their fans embody this thug attitude. Just my thoughts though

I was in Gainesville for that game, scUM fans were stirring up shite everywhere. I saw an absolute bloodbath of a brawl go down 3 hours before kickoff outside of Yulee Hall.

doesn't surprise me, though. The last time UF went to MIA (2003), I heard a few that dealt with a fair # of a-hole Miami fans.
