A buddy of mine is on the team and is telling me that Dak is the starter next week. Hopefully, he performs like he should and retains the starting job the rest of the year.

Well of course he is. I thought it was pretty obvious Tyler got concussed, and if I'm not mistaken it's an NCAA rule that you can't do anything until at least 7 days after a concussion. Russel's probably not even going to practice.

We didn't score, but we did get about 130 yds in the 4th qtr with Dak running the show.

I hope Dak scores on every drive. I know it's lowly Alcorn State but he has suffered on the sidelines long enough. It must be painful to watch TR muff nearly every snap.

On a side note we only have 1 healthy backup QB and if he plays it will burn his redshirt.

Yes. The glass is half empty.

It must have been frustrating for him to watch the Northwestern game. Russell single handedly lost that game.

I don't really think the guy is a future starter. They could give him some reps in the game vs Alcorn and I wouldn't be very upset. Staley is the next guy in line.

I agree. I think he will be a serviceable backup so I'm not too concerned about burning his RS...
