The parties entered into a licensing agreement allowing Seatle to do certain things with the name while protecting A&M's right to it.


TAMU watered down the "12th Man" brand with that agreement.

Commercially, maybe, but not in the eyes of the law, which is what really matters. A&M was diligent in protecting its brand and allowed a license without giving up the rights to it.
