Week 1 Score predictions and unc game talk

Some key points in this game:
unc's offense is up tempo and they'll try to run 100+ plays.
unc has great WR's and a great TE. Their QB is also really good.
They lost 3 starters on OL last year and have a RS Freshman going against Sutton.
unc's defense is beaten up right now. They have a walkon listed as their starting MLB. They are really thin on their 2 Deep for defense.
unc runs a 4-2-5 or a 3-3-5 defense.
unc sold out their 7500 allotment of tickets.
Expect a lot of quick screens and 5-10 yard passes from Renner to avoid being sacked.
They have 2 RB's with different skills, they have a bruiser, Blue, and and speed guy, Morris.
My Prediction, USC wins this 38-20.

It's easy to overthink this and get concerned a/b Vic's height against Quinshad, etc. But bottom line is we will control LOS on defense and SHOULD control it on offense. To me, the biggest question is how many points we score, not how many points they score.

I'm reluctant to make a prediction before we've seen any on the field action. My hope is that this is a statement game, akin to Spurrier's early Florida years. We come out and beat them bad. Defense showing out and getting a shutout would be monumental. Putting up forty or more points would make people pause for sure, though.
Realistically I think it will be a 35-17 type showing. Strong, but not completely dominating like I would like.
