As a matter of fact that is the exact presnap confusion and read we wanted to bait AJ on... So yes. If given the option I'm sure A&M would have played it the exact same way 100 time out of 100. He definitely wasn't wide open but the pass was most definitely on target. I consider a ball hitting a player in the numbers, no matter if he's blanketed or wide the freak open to be an accurate throw.
