Will a program ever man up?

And is it the only way for a program like Arkansas to ever be successful? 20 years going on 50 years of failure in the SEC makes one believe that a program like Arkansas won't ever be able to make any head way if they keep doing what they are doing.

- No great rival.
- Terrible in state talent.
- Bordered by 4 states with better/championship caliber programs.
- Marginalized by great programs it can't beat.

So will Arkansas ever man up? They claim to have a ton of money, so can they ever eat the costs and schedule a the most difficult and high profile OOC schedule possible? Assuming there will be three OOC games in the near future, would Arkansas ever be willing to schedule one historically decent opponent from the B1G, Big 12, and Pac 12 each and every single year? I realize their home schedule would lose double directionals, and the revenue with that, but doesn't this seem like the only way a program like Arkansas could ever be successful in the SEC?

Lulz. Will A&M ever do something about 41-25? We owned you before, we own you now.

Pretty sure they've been to a BCS game much more recently than A&M

Well, now I'm wondering which two of the six states bordering Arkansas don't have championship caliber programs.

They can't really do anything about not having alot of instate talent. Their only chance is to hire a coach that doesn't rely on defense and can win on offensive play-calling with little talent. That is why they have only been good when they have coaches like Petrino and Nutt since being in the SEC. Until they hire another offensive guru or somehow start out recruiting the other SEC schools in their own states they won't overcome it.

I'm pretty sure that's the exact opposite of what happened when we had Nutt
