"It's kind of hard to have a target on your back when you finished third in your own division," Texas A&M running back Ben Malena said. "I think the reason people would say that [we've got a target on us] is because we had unexpected success. But we're trying to go from third to first. I don't think there's a target on our backs at all. We've still got two teams that finished ahead of us. I think the target would be on their backs more than ours."

True. But on the bright side, AU will probably jump the most places of any team in the rankings this coming year.

This is more relevant considering A&M, LSU, and USCe all had the same conference records.

Also, we are undefeated against Alabama in SEC conference play, so you may to beat us before you start the smack talk.

Now when we beat both sc and a&m. Our two losses were two bama and a team that's only loss was to the east champ. No one cares about you cotton bowl win.

You're right. Everyone really only cares about the fact that LSU tied with A&M for 2nd place.

Well when you explain it that way, you guys are super important and that 10-3 is super impressive despite the embarrassing loss to an ACC team.

I would put them at 5 over USCe. TAMY was better than them and USCe is overrated this year will lose 3+ games this year.
