Please attend a dadgum scrimmage before you badmouth our players. Unless you've been going to practice and scrimmages for the past three weeks what right do you have to say "Preston Smith and Ryan Brown haven't done jack"?
And it's not like we all didn't know this was going to happen. Chris Jones is an athletic freak who's played football for a year and a half and dominated lesser competition by sheer strength and speed. Experience is the #1 thing Nkemdiche has over him(And that's no slight to him) and it's why Nkemdiche will have much more of an immediate impact than Chris Jones will. Doesn't he won't help and he won't be a beast, but he's gonna take a little time to learn the ropes.
As GTH said, mostly mental, and to be honest I'm much less worried about him than Nick James. From what I saw in practice he was the same as last year, in skill, effort, and weight. In Team drills he was going against third-stringers and looking average, while Quay was doing good against second stringers.
Wait, GTHTSUN got on the rebel board and I didn't?
Or Trent Simpson is legitimately doing well and CJ is legitimately having trouble going against people who can actually fight back? And just because Trent Simpson is likely Redshirting doesn't mean Turner can't be excited about his potential. Not to mention any coach worth his salt is going to expect to see at least a few snaps from any 5* recruit at any team.

Funny how y'all can come over here and make lob underhanded compliments laced with sarcasm yet I go to the Reb board and get banned after pointing out something ironic I heard on a Rebel radio show. Double standard much?
Wait, GTHTSUN got on the rebel board and I didn't?

Turner bragging on Trent Simpson takes away the attention from Chris Jones its obvious hes downplaying CJ Bc he don't want ok st to gameplan thinking they may see him.
Also it's a 100% guarantee Trent Simpson redshirts and Chris Jones played. A LOT
