It ended up a solid game score wise at the end...


but in 2008, emerging Alabama took #3 UGA, Stafford, A.J. Green and Knowshon Moreno to town in Athens.

That was a strange game. If I recall correctly, Bama’s average field position in the first half was in UGA territory. I still remember the Prince Miller PR TD to start the 4th quarter to bring the score to 31-17. For a moment I thought UGA was going to reenact the Bills vs. Oilers from the early 90’s. I’m too lazy to look up the box score, but I think the numbers were even across the board (save the scoreboard).
