The second play from scrimmage was a 22 yard pass to Jones. Here is a link to the entire games play-by-play:

McCarron does not get enough credit....I don't know why, but for some reason people just don't like to give him the credit he deserves.

I truly believe the thing that kept UGA from being national champs this year was inability to tackle on first contact mostly due to playing the strip first. And probably not rotating the D front more.

Was the best game, end to end, that I have ever witnessed. Far from perfect, both teams seemed to struggle at times but when it came down to it, the good players made the plays they had to. A number of players from either side could have win MVP that night.

It was a battle worth the price of admission.

The pass was a 3 yard slant to Jones from the slot position as he beat either Swann or Smith badly and then got the other 19 on his own. When I say he didn't have but 2 completions more than 3 yards down field, what I mean is that he didn't actually throw it more than 3 yards initially and the WR did the extra work or a DB faltered.

To the ignorant gump that seems to think we got every break...what in the hell game were you watching? It was really mistakes both ways, but I'd say a missed field goal by UGA, Bama falling on a fumble at it's on 20, McCarron throwing his only decent deep ball on the most important pass of the game, and Murray throwing a horrid pick before the half to gift wrap you 3 more points were all pretty good breaks. You faced multiple 1000 yard rushers last year and Gurley was the only one to run for over 100 I don't think we were "given" anything.

I realize that Bama returns Cooper, Norwood, Bell, and Jones at WR...and? I've already stated Cooper is the best WR in the conference, but nobody else out there is any better than what UGA and LSU bring back.

I realize Jarvis was blocked in the run game very well and the ball was ran right at him, because that's what you do with great pass rushers. That's what LSU did to Clowney. But you cant deny that we rushed the passer well on 5 step drops, 7 step drops, and PA. We had 3 sacks on those type plays that I can recall in limited attempts. The attempts were limited either because the coach's weren't confident in McCarron's ability to throw them effectively or not confident in the ability of the OL to hold off the rush

Go back and watch the game if you want to bitch and moan.
