I think it happens sometimes when teams that had high hopes come up short and end up in a bowl with an inferior team. Although I would hope they could get up for a team like Clemson. Florida losing to Louisville and Bama losing to Utah are more along the lines of what I'm talking about.

All of the non-title bowl games are just glorified exhibitions.

After we got screwed out of the Cotton Bowl we were just not giving a damn about going back to the Chicken Sandwich bowl. TAM will get there one day if they ever actually make a run at it. They sure got excited about last year. We're like that every year, till we lose to Alabama then it's meh.
