Or a chance to increase your draft stock. Even if Clowney wouldn't have been the #1 pick if he were eligible for the draft, blowing up the Michigan RB would've put him there. There's always something to play for, even if it's only pride.

Agreed, but he wasn't even coming out yet. That's just highlight reel shite for him.

I'm just refering to the psychology of these kids going into these games once there's nothing really to play for. They've made their case. Everyone knows that unless you REALLY blow the game up, which most won't be able to do, just don't look shitty. Win or lose it makes no difference at that point.
