No one wants to mention his bad games.

Probably because even in his "bad games" against UT and Michigan he managed to have game winning forced fumbles and a fumble recovering.

And to the OP that said he's never lead the SEC in any stats- he lead FF his freshman season.

Is Clowney overhyped? Maybe
Is Clowney overrated? No. He will draw double and triple teams all season long because of what he can do.

This is such a dumb post.

Teams don't scheme to put 3 players on Clowney.
They scheme to protect the QB. If they have max protect and the South Carolina only sends 4, you will see 2 guys on Clowney and one guy spying in front of the QB. If Clowney beats the two guys, then he will see the third.

If teams have max protect and South Carolina sends the blitz, Clowney may only have the offensive tackle blocking him. That's how it works.

Those are all big IFs.
It's not like the OC is telling the offensive linemen to ignore other players because of Clowney's superhuman abilities.

This. I obviously love the attention we're getting by him playing here but even I'm getting tired of seeing his hit by now.

He's made plenty of other special plays besides it that no one else ever wants to show or talk about.
