A few notables from the depth chart per Fortenbeast:
-Alex Bullard starting at LG over Marcus Jackson.
-LaDarrel McNeil listed as starting S. safety over Byron Moore.
-Brent Brewer starting at SLB over Maggitt
-Croom, Howard and Blanc are the starting receivers.
-Neal and Alden Hill two-deep at RB. (The frick M. Lame? )
-Peterman and Worley as "co starters" at QB
Really surprised with some of the swaps, thoughts on this gents?

What happened to Maggitt? I thought he was highly rated out of high school?

Tore his ACL in one of the last games last year, he's hovering around 100% but not quite there yet
Coaches loved Brewer in the off season and camps so he'll have a shot to prove himself in his last year here.

Good, Moore is horrible in coverage

He's outspoken and a leader with good hands but his speed, is on par with Rosie O Donalds. Hopefully with the switch back to the 4-3 and having more then 3 plays in the playbook the DBs came make some shite happen this season

The DB's had no clue what they were doing last year. I have no clue what Ansley and Conklin were doing last year, but it definitely wasn't what they were paid to be doing. Although, that can be said for the majority of the staff last year.

Helen Keller could have went out there and made more plays on D last year. I also truly believe Bob Saget and his ring of under aged prostitutes would have out schemed and coached Sal I can't count to 3 Sunseri.
They just need a few more seasons though

Curt should get more healthy as the season progresses and take his spot back.

That defensive backfield has the potential to be terrible. Hopefully something miraculous happens. I'll add that I think the safety position is solid but the corner/nickel backs will probably get torched.
I see some potential playmakers on the offensive side. I hope some of the young guys can find their niche.
Off topic, What the frick happened to Reeves-Maybin and Bowles?

Whats up with the OR at the QB spot?
Posted on 7/31/13 at 9:43 am to Displaced
Guess they haven't decided on a starter yet

lol, got it.
but isn't that kinda counterintuitive to what a depth chart stands for?

Ha, yeah. But I guess it's too close to call right now. Either that, or Butch is going with a 90's Spurrier depth chart.

It's the preseason depth chart, its going to change 2,3,4 times before the season begins regardless amongst the coaches because of all the new guys they haven't seen in pads yet. Id be really surprised if that's what the 2 deep looked like in 2 weeks

They will be ok because the D-line will be vastly improved, I truly believe McCullers and Co. will wreak havoc on opposing O-lines, making the secondary's job much easier.

They might be somewhat better but I still think its not gonna be pretty. They were soooooooo bad last year if they improved by 50% it still will be really bad
