The AP Poll thread spin-off

The thread on the pre-season AP poll the other day got me thinking that teams aren't necessarily ranked by which team is better than the other but how they will do with the schedule they have..i.e. Louisville. I think they're 4-6 SEC teams that could beat the top teams in other conferences. IMO teams should be ranked by which team would beat the other. So who wins these Head to Heads and how "should" the ranking go.
Top Teams in other Conferences:
Bama, UGA, A&M, LSU, USC, UF vs:
1- Ohio State
2- Stanford
3- Oklahoma
4- Oregon
5- Louisville
6- FSU
7- Clempson
I think the SEC teams would/could beat all of those teams. Maybe a few games would go to the others but I would bet the SEC would go 80%+ vs those teams. Look at them head to head and tell me who would beat an SEC team on my top list.
Then how would the rankings shake out? All SEC top 5?

Stanford could hold its own against the SEC, IMO.

Any team CAN beat any other team.

AP Poll means nothing. It has no bearing on determining a champion. Why waste time pondering the what if's of something that doesn't matter?

Well junkie instead of complaining about the thread you could go eat a wheelbarrow full of BBC and choke.
Or you could actually discuss the topic.

As was proved at the end of 2012 and beginning of 2013.
Ohio State -- No real competition to compare against.
Stanford -- Solid, proved they were good on the field.
Oklahoma --
Louisville -- Proved they could beat UF
FSU --
Clemson -- Proved they could beat LSU
So, Oklahoma just don't belong. All SEC teams should destroy them.
FSU could hang with everyone, and would likely win one or two.
Clemson beat LSU, so we have to assume that they are good enough to beat others, except USCe, or we have to assume that LSU's performance fell off big time during the bowl.
Oregon, I just don't know. No Chip Kelly. Nothing to compare it to.
Louisville could beat at least some of the SEC teams, if not all of them, but who knows.
Stanford didn't play anyone to compare to so who knows.
Same with Ohio State.

That was my discussion on this topic

Stanford is one team that plays a similar style to the SEC but in the end the SEC teams would wear them down with superior depth.

Where would you rank those teams if they were in the SEC?

He stated his opinion. Calm down.

Oregon has blue chip talent in the trenches now, so they would hold their own.
Personally, I think there is Bama and then the rest of the country right now.
