I don't think its a bong. Its to small. It does not look like a glass pipe - at least not the ones I have googled images of. Who reaches for a bong like that. shite has fire and weed and water going on in there - you dont snatch it from the top with that much speed.

Looks like he is just putting it down. Hence the smoke everywhere and the red face he has. He also wouldn't notice someone snapping a pic as he is coughing.

While I haven't seen a bong that small, you can make one out of anything. My roommates and I use to use old soda and water bottles and they worked just fine.
