Good god I hate school ranking lists. They're some of the most arbitrary lists ever made, just say your parameters. Highest starting salary, highest percentage placement upon graduation, lowest acceptance rate, or 25% placement / 25% salary, 25% drug supply, etc..

Education is the responsibility of the individual. These lists are only good for ego stroking and dick measuring contests.

Says the fan of the school near the bottom middle.

I'm not even sure if you are in the bottom middle or the middle bottom. I just wanted to say what's up.

I love when they use acceptance rate. Every bammer with a GED is applying for acceptance into the school, so they can party and get football tickets. What the survey needs to show is the ACT/SAT Score of those turned away.

Totally agree. In the SEC, the only university that is going to stand out on a resume when applying to a nationally competitive job is Vandy. The rest are just state schools with a reputation for great football, hot girls, and top 25 party rankings. No one is getting hired in New York or Chicago primarily because their resume says Texas A&M, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, etc...

Not unlike BCS rankings.
