His grades weren't bad, it was that he didn't have credits from his first two years of HS because his HS was not accredited. He literally had no shot to qualify. There was no point in ranking him high when he didn't have enough grades to qualify.

I think the Julio comparison is a good one, along with Dez Bryant

How does that happen? Was it a small private school or something?

Yeah, I'm gonna request a link on that one. I've read this guy's interviews and seen his tweets. He's not exactly a Rhodes Scholar.

From what I understand, based off recruiting analyst's articles, is that he had very bad grades and going to a JUCO was his only available option.

Plenty of guys with grade issues have been ranked extremely high if they were talented enough to warrant it. Look at Sheldon Richardson for an example of this.

ETA: I'm not saying you are wrong or trying to flame. If it happens as you claim then that is an extremely fricked up situation. Like Alfy Hill fricked up.
