What QB in the SEC would you rather have?
I can't think of one.
And before you go running from the mouth about JFF. No.
Don't want him. Can't have him. He's toast, as far as RC is concerned..
There is not one QB that fits our style. Not one that I'd trade JF for. Not saying that JF is the greatest, but frick it. I'll ride him and his note totin' smiley lovin arse to as many wins as he can get us.
Who's going to get us 10 wins?
Just asking.
I know the answer. No one.

Murray all day long. We have won big with great qbs in this same system. Being a runner is not a must, being able to quickly and accurately deliver the football is.

Hold on a second...so you think that JFF couldn't get us 10 wins?
Chase Daniels got us 12. You don't there's a chance that JFF could get us 10?

I don't know that there is ANY QB in the country that could get us 10 wins this coming up year. Who out of the SEC do I think could get us a better record than Franklin:
JFF-Can't deny the guy's talent, and it is better than Franklin's.
McCarron-Gabbert wasn't exactly a dual threat type QB. Sure he was supposedly fast in a straight line, but I would hardly say he was a running QB either.
Murray-See McCarron.
Wilson-I don't think he's a great QB but I think he's better than Franklin.
Shaw-I'm probably jaded by the performance he had against Mizzou last year, but that performance makes me put him possibly on even footing with Franklin.
Wallace-Threw too many interceptions, but then so did Franklin. If Franklin puts up his sophmore year numbers, I MAY prefer Franklin over Wallace.
Mauk-I don't know that he's the savior like many hope, but I do think he brings more outward intensity and passion. He can obviously throw the ball to some extent and ran the ball in high school as well.
Printz-Maybe our good resident Georgia fan has influenced me too much, but I really like what little I have seen and heard about this kid. Saying he'd certainly do better THIS season might be a stretch, but I don't know that I'd say he'd do worse right now either.
Not a fan of Driskel or Mettenberger. I think the rest have new QB's taking over so I'd have a hard time taking any of them, knowing little about them.

It's not that Franklin is bad, it's that he's just not a true football player. He is more like a swimmer or something.. He really could get 9 wins this year though.. he could also be replaced and the teams only wins 5-6.

And I am not even as hard on JF as others are.

Did I miss something?

Taj Boyd from Clemson. He scrambles around and has had good receivers. Should have done more with them but that might have been the play calling. I know Clemson is in the ACC but that is who I would want.

I'd take him all day if he can stay out of trouble and controversy.
